WW1 West Riding Regiment 1914 Pattern Equipment Large Pack.
A very good and rare example, attributed to a Private S. Allan of the 3/5th Bn West Riding Regiment. The bag retains leather straps to the flap, base and shoulder. Also web straps with eye holes, for use with the 1908 equipment. The leather is sound and supple (This is an imporatnt feature withis pattern of bag). One large period field repair. Named to the back and the inside flap, The inside flap also with 1915 date stamp. Dusty condition. One brass end cap absent to rear strap.
