WW1 Royal Scots Officer’s Trench Weight Cuff Rank Doublet Tunic.

A very rare and sleepy trench fighting doublet worn by a Second Lieutenant Military Cross winner of the Royal Scots. The doublet is tailored in heavy Bedford / Whip cord material, with Second Lieutenant rank stars and to the left cuff a brass wound stripe and to the right three blue overseas service chevrons. Complete with Royal Scots collar badges and regimental buttons, also a Military cross ribbon to the left breast. The doublet with full cotton lining tailored with a field dress pocket. The weight and material of the doublet is typical for the hard wear of the front line trenches. The doublet is not named.
