WW1 Royal Garrison Artillery Medal Group & Silver War Badge Tin,  Bullet etc.

An interesting group of items, I purchased together in the Princess Mary Tin. I can not confirm the items have always being together but as found.

Awarded to 102657 Pte W McAvoy RA. Comprising: British War Medal, Victory Medal, Imperial Service Medal “WILLIAM McAVOY”. Silver War Badge “B343573” (Badge Confirmed). Medals loose.

Princess Mary Christmas gift tin. Retaining traces of original gilt finish.

Bullet head and piece of shrapnel.

Private William McAvoy Royal Garrison Artillery enlisted in November 1915. Serving in France he was reported wounded on the 2nd May 1918 and was awarded the Silver War Badge being discharged on the 26th November 1919. His next of Kin is given as Wokingham.
