WW1 Royal Artillery Trench Weight Officers Cuff Rank Tunic.

A scarce heavy weight example tailored in Bedford Cord. To each cuff Captain rank stars and lace and to the right a single blue overseas chevron. This example with the nice touch of leather repair to the cuffs, indicating heavy use. Now fitted with Royal Artillery collar badges and buttons (2 Welsh buttons to the shoulder straps). The interior with cotton lining.  The overall condition of this tunic is good, but please note fading to the colour of the cloth due to exposure to sunlight right shoulder. One or two moth holes, not effecting the appearance. Evidence of another collar badge having been worn.  Overall a good representation of a trench fighting tunic. Heavy item for posting
