WW1 Royal Artillery Military Cross Winners Cuff Rank Tunic.
A good example of a Great War trench weight Officer’s tunic, worn by an unknown MC winner of the Royal Artillery. Tailored by Walter Ward & Co of London complete with regimental collar badges and brass buttons. To the left breast original medal ribbons of the Military Cross, British War Medal and Victory Medal. To each cuff lace and rank stars of a Lieutenant. The interior with full lining and tailors label. This with ink “Breast 36” indicating an “off the peg” purchase. The lining tailored with a field dressing pocket. The overall condition is good and retains a good colour. Overall moth nips not effecting the overall appearance, but please note moth damage to the corner left facing pocket, again not really effecting the overall appearance.
