WW1 RND Royal Naval Division POW Wood Box.
A scarce large wood box with carded decoration to the lid including “RND”. The interior with padded silk lining. The base with pencil inscription MADE BY THE INTERNED SAILORS IN GRONINSEN HOLLAND 1914-15. The wood is a very good honey colour, but the lid has now warped.
