WW1 RNAS Pilots Wing.
This pattern of gilt wing is recognised as the RNAS pilot wing worn on the left breast of the land service khaki tunic. Three screw posts to the reverse (two nuts present) and retaining original shaped backing plate. This pattern also worn on the cuff of the RNAS reefer jacket. Not to be confused with latter issues, which included a backing plate for a crown and are loop fitting
