A good and scarce example dark blue cloth with black leather peak, tailored with a red embroidered Rating’s cap badge. The interior with leather sweatband and circular stitching to the lining. This example with tailored with a small round crown and short peak, which would indicate an early Great War period style. Minor service and age wear.
