A superb example of a Great War Period private purchase Officer's flying helmet, typical of the period. Soft brown leather, with blanket lining, wide chin strap and fold up neck flap. Complete with all open pattern studs. Leather supple, one small area of moth to the blanket lining of the flap. Near VGC.
