WW1 Patriotic English Made Soldier Doll.
A very good and rare example retaining original khaki service dress uniform and cap. The bisque head was made by the English factory of Hewitt & Leadbuster, who were also known as Willow Pottery, the body of stuffed cloth, the hands and feet composition. Height approx 9 inches. Very Good Condition.
Hewitt & Leadbeater made dolls from 1914 to 1920, the main producer of bisque heads prior to the war being Germany.
