WW1 Notts & Derby Regiment Officer’s Campaign Cutlery Set.

A rare attributed set carried and used by Lieutenant C.L. Rickett of the 15th Bn Sherwood Foresters. Comprising folding knife, fork with corkscrew, Spoon with small blade. These are contained in the original polished brown leather case with ink name C.L. Rickett 1918. Slight service and age wear GC.

Lieutenant Cyril L Rickett landed in France after the 1st January 1916 and was reported wounded on the 23rd November 1916 whilst serving with the 15th Bn. He was again wounded during the closing stages of the war, his name appearing on a list of the 18th November 1918, whilst attached to a Trench Mortar Battery
