A scarce combination comprising: British War Medal, Victory Medal "2 Lieut B.G. Segar", accompanied by a silver ID bracelet engraved "2nd Lieut B.G. Segar RC 3rd Northants". GC. .... Accompanied by a British War Medal "2 Lieut R. Segar". GC.

Second Lieutenant B.G. Segar was commissioned into the Northamptonshire Regiment and landed in France on the 28th September 1916, he was awarded the Silver War Badge and at the end of the war was living at 101 Woodstock Road Oxford. .... Second Lieutenant Robert Segar was commissioned into the Worcestershire Regiment and later was transfered to the General List. His MID confirms the award of the BWM only and he was also awarded the Silver War Badge. At the end of the war his address is given as 90 High Street Oxford
