WW1 KOSB Tam O’Shanter.
A very good example of the field service Tam O’Shater the equivalent of the English Trench Cap, worn by a member of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.
This Great War period example is larger than the later patterns with a cotton lining bearing a WD ink stamp of the correct Great War period. Fitted with a King’s Own Scottish Borderers cap badge, with backing cloth which appears to be the original as worn. Some service and minor age wear as expected.
