HMS New Zealand was one of three Indefatigable-class battlecruisers. Launched in 1911. During WW1 she fought at the battles of Heligoland Bight, Dogger Bank, and Jutland—and was involved in the response to the inconclusive Raid on Scarborough, and the Second Battle of Heligoland Bight. Surviving the war, she was scrapped in 1923.
