The Medal Index Card confirms the name and regimental number but shows the Regiment as the Welsh Regiment. The number of the Silver War Badge confirms Private Higgens and enlisting on the 11th December 1915 and the SWB being award on the 1st January 1918 with the same regimental number and the Welsh Regiment.
