WW1 Cheshire Regiment / St.John Ambulance Serving Brother’s Group of 7 Medals.

This group was awarded to Sergeant Frank Smart who landed with the Regiment  at Gallipoli and was a long serving member of the St.John Ambulance Association. Comprising: Badge of a Serving Brother, St John (White & Black enamel), 1914/15 Star, “26171 Pte Ches R”, British War Medal, Victory Medal, “A Sjt Ches R”, India General Service Medal, clasp “Afghanistan NWF 1919”, “Sgt Ches R”, Defence Medal, St.John Ambulance Service Medal, Five clasps, “22523 A/Off F.A. Smart No4 Dis SJAB 1941”. Mounted court style as originally worn. Correction to Regiment on the IGS.

Sergeant Frank Smart landed at Gallipoli with the Cheshire Regiment on the 5th September 1915.
