WW1 Black Watch Highland Cyclist Battalion Officer’s Cuff Rank Tunic.
This is probably the rarest pattern of the Highland Regiment Tunics, incorporating both Highland Regiment and Lowland Regiment features.
The tunic was worn by a Lieutenant of the Regiment who had been awarded a pre 1908 Volunteer Decoration or Efficiency Medal.
The tunic is complete with special pattern buttons and collar badges. Each cuff with “doublet” pattern rank stars and lace. The interior with full lining. One small area of moth to lower front skirt, not effecting the overall appearance. Good clean condition.
Approx width armpit to armpit. 18 inches
