Private William Mc.Lachlan was a native of Glasgow and landed in France after the 1st January 1916. He died of wounds on the 9th September 1916. He is buried Heilly Station Cemetary Mericourt L’Abbe. Son of Gregor and Annie McLachlan of 196 Weir St Glasgow.
