WW1 1918 Royal Field Artillery 1902 Pattern Trench Tunic.
A very good example of the classic Great War period tunic worn by a Private or Gunner of the RFA. The tunic is tailored with double pleats to the collar, no lining to the collar or underside of the pocket flaps. Complete with General Service brass buttons and to each shoulder strap original matching “RFA” brass titles. The interior with the correct combination WD stamp and retaining original paper label with clear 1918 date made by Benedict & Co. The label indicating height 5ft 11 Chest 38 inches, waist 33 inches. The tunic is in very good clean condition, but please note there are a few small cuts to the left sleeve cuff. These do not detract from the overall appearance. No moth VGC.
