A good and rare example, complete with all attachment buckles with leather fittings. To the flap both long leather straps. This example has received an official field repair having the leather tangs to the top of the pack (for attachment to the brace straps) replaced with webbing tangs, with holes. (original leather can been seen under the tang). Faint issue stamps to the underside of the flap. Leather a little dry but remains supple. Overall condition in good with one hole, untouched condition. The back is accompanied by a pair of leather straps, these with age wear. A very scarce item of Great war equipment
