21818 Acting Corporal Frederick Wilfred Janes, enlisted into the 16th Bn Cheshire Regiment, known as the Birkenhead Bantams, at High Wycombe and was Killed in Action on the 24th April 1917. His brother Private Alfred John Janes enlisted into the Royal Marine Light Infantry on the 21st March 1916 and was Killed in Action on the 26th October 1917, whilst serving with the RND
