A good example attributed to Flight Lieutenant Lee of 209 Squadron during the 1960’s. The blue canvas helmet is complete with electrics, the issue label indicating Size 3 1961. The leather ear pads with the owners and Squadron details. Complete with a very good example of the H Type oxygen mask this complete with electrics and straps. Dated April 1964. Helmet with some service and storage wear.

During the 1960’s 209 Squadron was based in Malaya it operated the Scottish Aviation Pioneers and Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneers on liaison and transport duties. The Squadron was finally disbanded on 31 December 1968 at RAF Seletar
