Regimental Sergeant Major Herbert Henry Jackson served with the 1/6th Bn Notts & Derby Regiment and was Mentioned in Despatches on the 1st January 1916. He later transferred to the Labour Corps serving with 857th Area Employment Coy. Labour Corps. He was reported drowned France & Flanders on the 6th December 1917. He was awarded the LS&GC Medal in 1913
