RAOC Attributed Other Rank's Wolseley Pattern Foreign Service Helmet & Cover.

A very good example of the issue pattern "Sun" Helmet., worn by Warrant Officer J Graham, who is know to have seen pre war service in Palestine.
The helmet retains original WW1 pattern thick pagri with RAOC pattern cloth badge. The interior with leather sweatband, full green cotton lining, this with ink service number.  Complete with original leather chinstrap. No damage to the cork shell. VGC. … Accompanied by original helmet cover / bag, this with thick black stencilled details:
“7585651 J GRAHAM ROAC” This is the same number found to the inside of the helmet. Bag with some age wear. A very rare and good combination.

Warrant Officer J Graham was awarded the General Service Medal clasp Palestine and in 1949 the Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal.
