A rare “been there” example used by Captain W Hughes who served with the 1st and 2nd Volunteer Company of the Northamptonshire Regiment. The two sided round mirror can be used on a table of retaining the retaining string, used by Captain Hughes hanging. A diameter of 7 inches and contained in the original brown leather case. This with an ink name of Captain W Hughes Northampton.

Captain Hughes was awarded the Queen’s South Africa Medal with the clasps Cape Colony, Transvaal, Orange Free State and South Africa 1901.
