A very rare example of a message written on to the khaki cloth of the senders uniform. Circa 1902
This message was posted home by a Private W Waters of the Royal Berkshire Regiment to his sister. A small verse and illustrated with the regimental cap badges and flags of the Regiment. Overall side 7 x 11 inches.
Slight wear, colours remain good.
