Awarded to “4350 Pte G Pratt 13/Hussars”, who was taken Prisoner by the Boers on the 7th September 1901. The Queen’s South Africa Medal bears two clasps: “Orange Free State”, “Transvaal”. Early style engraved naming with faint ghost dates to the reverse. GC.

Private Pratt is confirmed as receiving the QSA with two clasps. He was taken Prisoner on the 7th October 1901 at Klerksdorp and was later released.
