Corporal Robert Stewart died on the 12th October 1941. He had recently returned from the Middle East after four years and was on leave from RAF Leuchars when he was knocked down and killed by a train at Inveralmond, near Perth.  He is buried in Auchtergaven Parish Churchyard.
