WW2 Home Front 1939 National Fire Service Taplow Area 15 Helmet.
A very good Blitz period helmet worn by Leading Fireman C Hill Taplow Buckinghamshire.
The helmet remains in very good condition retaining green painted finish, red band indicating Leading Fireman NFS transfer and area 15. The shell with 1939 date to the underside. Retaining early style lining, with round crown cushion. Pencil name C Hill.
Very Good Clean Condition.
