WW1 15 Light Armoured Car Battery Trench Art Lighter

A rare and superb example carried by 268720 Private H Powell ASC attached 15th (LAMBS) Light Armoured Car Battery 1916 to 1920 during service in Persia. These details are engraved to the reverse of the lighter. To the front the copper fuel tank is engraved with a Rolls Royce Armoured Car. The lighter appears in good condition, flint wheel rotates freely. No flint present. Size 3 inches.

Private Alfred Henry Powell enlisted into the Army Service Corps and was posted overseas after the 1st January 1916 earning the BWM & VM. There is a note on his MIC indicating that he applied for a GSM which was rejected.
